I bought this cage to carry in a suitcase so I would have a nice cage for my parrot upon arrival overseas. He spent the entire journey in a small carry on cage, and I wanted him to have a nice cage immediately upon arrival at the hotel in Korea.The cage is very solid and goes together well, but it's very heavy, about 16 lbs. It's his everyday cage now, and is very large. All good, but for this guy, could have been smaller and therefore lighter. Seems to be very excellent quality.
