I do like this light, it is nice and bright, the second battery is always a plus, but the user interface sucks. Having to hold the power button to cycle the power options isn't the best. Having to turn it off, then back on to hold the power button because you want a higher brightness is annoying. Holding the power button when it is on to get the max power however is a nice feature.The real problem comes when it's in the holster on your belt. I was just sitting here at work and I started getting a warm sensation in my back that was getting worse. I reached back to feel it and received a 2nd-degree burn on my finger as the melted holster stuck to my finger.While the light is nice, be warned that it can easily get turned on when you don't want it to.Great flashlight, I carry it everywhere now. It does have 2 downsides, it does not have a way to change the focus and the side switch can be turned on accidentally. Now to the explanation of the title. This light could have done some major damage had i not noticed the smoke. I had it in the holster and had apparently switched it on without noticing. It had begun to catch the holster on fire and i caught it before it got bad. But later that night it completely redeemed itself. I was out scouting some land (i work days so night is my free time) and while iwasin this field i did a quick 360 check and caught a pair of yellowish orange eyes. It took only a second after seeing them to see that it was a mountain lion. I wouldnt have seen that thing without this light and it gave me a bit of confidence, illuminating a very large area
