Sherwood Scuba ST2800 Lumen Aluminum Dive Flashlight - Professional Underwater Light for Scuba Diving, Snorkeling & Night Swimming

The ST2800 is bright, compact, has the right beam angle, and too bright for close up inspection of wall, crevices, corals, sponges, etc, I find myself mostly using the low-intensity setting (which is still very bright for most applications), so wish that was the initial button setting instead of always pressing twice to get there. The light does not come with a wrist holder, but literature states that it does. I contacted Sherwood, and they immediately sent me one - for the ST1000 (I have two, both with wrist holder, which are great, although I choose not to use them for increased flexibility in aiming the light). The ST2800 does not fit the holder (too big), so Sherwood needs to change their literature to reflect that no holder is designed for or provided with this light (a little large for that application, anyway). Only positive things to say about the light (having used maybe 30 lights over the decades). Again, good penetration in NW waters for hunting or signaling, a little bright for tropical water, so use dim setting. ST1000 is great too, but the padeye for lanyard attachment is paper thin and abraded through quickly, so I filed smooth, painted. Then taped the lanyards on those two light.
