I needed a lightweight water resistant coat for Florida winters. I settled on this one because of the quality of the materials and finish - the inside seams are edged! It's also a little longer than other similar jackets, which gives a little more coverage. It's pricier than others, but I think it's a good value and will last longer. I could have worn L, a little snug - sized up to XL to wear over sweaters.
