Dead on arrival; returnedI was a little surprised by how much I like this light. I expected it to feel much heavier than it does, it makes it very easy to use and to sit in stationary positions easily for longer use while you move around.The light has three modes, full brightness a slightly less bright mode, and a flashing mode (flashes SOS in morse code) the light has a very bright beam at full brightness that will easily provide a bright beam at 100+ yards in front of you, you could search or see a large area at night easily with this light. The center of the beam is very focused so at distance, you get a bright center beam and a less significant periphery illumination pattern which means sweeping the light if you want to see more in the distance clearly.The second level is still very bright and I'd estimate it to be about half the brightness of the full beam. The distance remains about the same but a little more yellow and not brilliant which is what you'd expect.The third level is a flashing SOS . . . _ _ _ . . . morse code pattern at the highest brightness. This could be useful in an emergency if you were trying to signal people at night and that would be the primary function of that mode. You could put it someplace easily visible and let it run.The on off switch is at the thumb level of the handle and in a very good and natural spot. Cycling through the modes is very easy.The body is lightweight plastic and feels durable enough, I'm not sure how it would handle a fall to rocks or concrete from say a second floor window or down rocks if you took it camping. I didn't put it in water to see if it floats but it appears that it would though I'm not sure it is waterproof.The light comes with a web lanyard that can be attached to two attachment points on the light, you could sling it over your shoulder or cross body to be hands free.While I was testing the light I left it on, on high mode, to see how long the battery took to run out, it lasted almost 8 hours but had dimmed a fair amount by around 5.5 hours but was still very usable albeit at a reduced distance until the end. Recharging took around 3 hours for a full charge using a wall plug.There are two things to mention about this light that resulting in my taking off one star.First, the charger is a USB charger but rather than using a standard microusb end to charge the light, they've chosen to use a round charging end which means if you ever lose or forget the charging cable you'll have to buy another and can't just use another of the hundred cables you have laying around to charge it. It also doesn't come with a wall charging device so you have to use one you already have or plug into some other USB power source. Both of these issues are serious design flaws in my opinion.Second, the compass is 100% useless. I'd never trust a compass like this anyway, but as a back up to a backup, I thought it might be ok, it is not even close to accurate. I tested it against my Suunto compass, an army engineering compass, and my photo compass and when pointed north this compass showed that we were heading nearly west, it was completely inaccurate. Do not trust it at all!Even given those two design flaws, this light is a very bright, very lightweight spotlight that will get the job done. I'm glad to have it and it is well within the range price-wise for this style of light. It's a good emergency light that will definitely come in handy camping or if the lights go out.This flashlight is very bright and puts out a LOT of light on its high setting. Even on the low setting, it puts out a usable amount of light. It is also very light in weight, making it easy to carry. The handle is well positioned.Included in the box is an owner's guide and the charging cable. The charging cable doubles as the charging indicator. The USB connector end lights up red during charging and green when its charged. There are no state of charge indicators on the flashlight itself.The seller indicates the batteries have a total capacity of 7000mAh which gives you 10-25 hours of light per charge depending on which mode you use. It has a USB port on the rear to use this as a powerbank as well as a compass, a nice touch.I got the orange one to make it easier to locate when I set it down someplace.This light does everything I wanted it for.Was kind of surprised when I took this out, it's quite light in weight, not the best sign. But it is well made enough for a flashlight. Pretty heavy plastic and sealed up pretty good. Power button on the handle, where it should be, easy to use. Also nice you can use it as a power bank, but it only has one battery, you won't get a ton of charges, but could be handy in an emergency.They say high lumens, but it is NOT high. Funny, they don't list the lumens number, gee, wonder why? It is just okay brightness, about like a flashlight you'd get at the dollar store, weight and construction further this thought. I've reviewed many lights lately, I have seen bright lights, high lumen lights, this is NOT one of those. But it would be okay for general use.It's too bad, this could be a 5 star product, given the price, if they were just honest and not make exaggerated claims.Much lighter than expected. Beam is a non adjustable spot with good focus and strong definition. No ded spit in the center as with some led bulbs. Battery life is good, better than I expected given the weight of the lamp. Only complaint is the non standard charging plug that requires a proprietary center pin plug instead of a USB c connector. Other than that the lamp is great. One thing I appreciate is the 3 position switch. High, low, off.. no annoying flash, strobe or SOS feature. simple, easy to use and carry.This is a good outdoor flashlight. It has a powerful beam with good range. It's lightweight, waterproof and its battery life is up to 10 hours. Construction quality is good although the materials feels a bit lightweight.This has good functionality and is able to be charged, which is helpful if batteries die. The brightness is awesome and covers a large space. Very bright and far distance. It’s light to carry around and has a shoulder strap if you need to bring it along hands free. Very good. Arrives charged.The flashlight is so good. The lamp is very powerful and can illuminate a good area from a long distance. There are three modes for me to choose. They are also very long-lasting, and I am very satisfied with a shopping.
