I have been aware of TravelPro as a high quality (and non-influencer) travel luggage brand. A lot of flight staff travel with TravelPro luggage everyday, so that says something about the quality and utility of their products.When I saw they had a backpack as part of their travel offerings, I knew I had to try it out. I was impressed beyond my expectations. I picked up the medium size, and when I first unpacked it, it seemed too small. Turns out there is a zipper to expand it to a larger size, which definitely puts it squarely in the medium size bracket. With that said, I do love that I can use the zipper to reduce the profile significantly.There are so many compartments in very convenient locations. The front has two zippered compartments, and one open compartment. At first, I was miffed that there was nowhere to carry a drink, but the open compartment fits any sort of bottle comfortably. The side compartments are both zippered, which is great. The main compartment is fairly large (when the backpack is expanded) and has a ton of organization of all different sorts: Mesh pockets, card holders, pen/pencil holders, etc. There is a dedicated pocket for a tracking device (like an Apple Airtag).The back pocket is nicely padded for a laptop. I have a 14” laptop that I use in it, and it fits without any issues. I haven’t tried my 16” laptop in there, but it does look like it would fit just fine.Where this shines is the outside features and quality. This backpack actually has two handles to carry it from the top. The handles can be snapped together to have a single handle. The shoulder straps are very nicely padded, and have a central snap (which looks like it can be moved) to secure the shoulder straps together. Material quality is exceptional, as is zipper quality. They are smooth and secure. The zipper pulls are large and easy to operate.It does weight more than my lighter weight hiking backpacks, but the weight does come with a lot more durability. I have the navy color, and it’s very handsome looking. Another thing about this backpack is that it doesn’t draw any unwanted attention. The design is sleek and clean.I haven’t traveled with this yet, but I think it can fit three days worth of clothes, devices, accessories. At least for me. It may be just a days worth of stuff depending on how heavily you pack. I tend to pack really light.This is the best backpack I have ever owned. Usually, I have a collection of backpacks depending on use, but I’m tempted to keep just this and a lightweight hiking backpacks as my two choices.
