I purchased this set some time ago but waited until after our vacation so that I could give a truly honest opinion. This little luggage set is amazing! My 2 year old granddaughter loves it. First of all, the lining and inner zippers are nice and it was a very easy pack for us. I was surprised at the number of items these two pieces could hold and still be easily transported. While I did not check them, (they were both carry-ons), this set still took a beating thru various airports (Including LAX!) and has held up wonderfully considering the circumstances. The backpack (smaller piece) seems to have fared a bit better than the roller piece in that it now has a couple of issues. The zipper seems to be separating from the unit (though it isn't broken just unattached from the stitching) and the clear coat has some scratches. The backpack part went everywhere with her while on vacation (including the beach) and we got plenty of compliments and questions about where we bought it from (which we happily answered). The wheels still roll perfectly on the larger piece and there are no major defects to either piece cosmetically--just topcoat scratches to the bigger one. The smaller one still looks brand new. The wear and tear this set has taken is what I would have expected it to have considering the length of our trip and how much handling this little set had to take. Assuming I am able to repair the zipper on the larger piece, this set could definitely be used again and without a doubt, I still think this was money well spent. My granddaughter loves it and two days after returning from vacation, she's still walking around with her backpack. I think that says a lot about how truly great this product really is! :)
