Plug and fill with water turn it on it makes ice. Living in an apartment with no ice maker is a form of purgatory. This just makes life easy. This is a no problem machine. Just follow the instructions and you will be fine.we love this product, we no longer have to go to the store to purchase ice to put in the coolers. Added plus we put it in our motorhome when we go camping.The product did not work! Decided to return it and the return was easy to do! Did buy another brand through Amazon and We are Very pleased with it!!I bought one about three years ago and it is still running great. It does stop working from calcium build up but all I do is run vinegar through it for a couple hours and it starts running great again. I also found if you drop some ice in the water to make it much colder it starts popping out ice cubes more quickly.This machine worked ok for about a month. Now it doesn’t work at all. Do not buy!
