OK - I can go on and on about the quality of the wrap, ease of use and all that but I don't need to because all I need to say is this stuff is TOTALLY AWESOME!!! I had no idea how versatile this stuff is to use and I use it for everything! No more sticky tape residue (or ripping paint off etc.,) mess like you get when using tape or adhesives when trying to keep things together. Wrap up a carpet, wrap keys, nuts bolts to a bed frame, wrap pictures, wrap around dressers and drawers so when you move them they don't fly open and hit you in the knees. This stuff holds really well. Nothing is going to get away from it unless you want it to. Wrap cables and cords, books, fragile items.... your imagination is the only barrier to the things you can use this for. I even used it to help deep condition my hair - covered my hair with conditioner and wrapped my head up for 10 minutes. kept all the conditioner on my hair and warmed it up. Hair turned out soft and shiny. I just love this stuff!!!!!Bought this to wrap around sheets of stained glass to make our move from one glass shop to another a little easier !! Sticks very well to the glass, protects it from breaking and scratching,and protects people from being cut by sharp edges of the glass while handling !!! Also great for sealing cartons, and stabilizing small items in containers from moving around !!! Only wish that the handle would spin somehow to make it easier for the film to come off the roll....hands started to ache after a full day of wrapping :( also a note or some directions that state you should pull tightly when wrapping....found this out after the first few tries....no big deal....lots of film per roll :) wish we would have used this stuff sooner !!! Easier than clear packing tape and cheaper too !!! Will definitely purchase again !!!This product made packing and moving much less of a headache. It is very strong when wrapped around something 4+ times. I found it convenient with securing rolled up rugs, mats, holding together long items (broom ball sticks, spears, snow shoes...), crunching down my backpacking backpacks...there are many uses for this product and I will definitely buy again when I run out, whenever that happens. I used 1 roll for packing my wife and I's apartment with some to spare.I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because the handle is static, as it looks. I found a modification in the picture reviews in order to modify the handle so that it dispenses way easier. Find a sturdy cardboard tube slightly larger than the roll's tube and fit over, secure with electrical tape...see picture. Credit goes to the other reviewer with this idea.If you ever store things... move things... like to keep things that belong together that go together while they are being store... you NEED these. I love that remotes don't get lost on stuff we are storing. I love that we can keep screws and such (like special allen wrenches) attached to the item we are using or storing. If you're moving... they are a MUST have. Will save a lot stress when trying to find stuff when you get where you're going. Now... these particular "dispensers" are just cardboard. You CAN get them that have a plastic "spinner" handle which can be nice. BUT... these do work and are cheaper.Bought these on a whim before our cross-country move and am totally sold. I will never move without this stuff again. I used it to wrap furniture, wrap moving blankets around furniture, wrap rubbermaid totes for extra protection, hold items in their respective dishes so that I could throw them in a box, wrap shampoo bottles when I ran out of ziplock baggies, and on and on.I ended up running out and grabbed another roll from Office Depot that was twice the price of the 2 pack on Amazon! I did not use it sparingly at all and went through 2.5 rolls packing up our 2 bedroom apartment. If you're on the fence about how much to buy, I would definitely buy more than you think you need and you can always return it. It is not worth having to pay the crazy prices for packing materials that office supply stores charge.Great product! We bought this 4 pack on a whim to help with our packing as we were moving our 2 bedroom apartment cross country. It ended up being our favorite packing tool ever! The plastic wrap was super versatile and easy to use. We actually found it a much better alternative to using storage bags, tape, boxes, rope, etc. In the end we used about 3.5 of the 4 rolls to pack our 2 bedroom apartment.We used them to keep dismantled furniture parts together (i.e. chair legs, shelves, etc). We also used them to wrap our sofa, rugs, and coupled with bubble wrap it became a safe cushion for our fragile glass.Overall, I would say our packing adventure wouldn't have went as smoothy nor as efficiently without this plastic wrap. I would highly recommend them. In fact, we are thinking about getting some more as backup in our new home!You will need the cardboard core tube from brand name "Saran wrap premium" plastic kitchen wrap, and some cheap electrical tape. Just cut the Saran cardboard core tube off at about 3.5", slide it over the handle of the TotalPack shrink wrap, and then wrap the base of the handle of the shrink wrap with your cheap electrical tape. *Note that I only know that the "Saran Premium" brand cardboard core tube fits the handle of this TotalPack shrink wrap for sure, cause there obviously are a lot of other "cling" and aluminum foil wraps at the grocery store where the cardboard cores might fit over the "totalpack" handle, but I only know that the "Saran premium" fits for sure. And when your TotalPack shrink wrap is all gone you can re-use both the electrical tape and the "Saran" cardboard core tube on your next roll of TotalPack shrink wrap.
