My wife and I go to the beach most weekends and we've been bring some form of self-supported hammock for years. Given the salt and sand they don't last forever so I was excited to see this hammock for a great price. We've had our first couple outings and it's working great!The hammock stand is lightweight and folds up pretty compact. Setting it up can be a little bit of a chore as it uses pins through the leg sliders to hold it in the correct 'expanded' position where as our previous hammocks had a stopper. Apart from having to fumble a little with the pins the rest of the setup is simple. The hammock itself is pretty stable. It's not going to wrap around you like a full-size regular cloth hammock but it does hug your body more than I was expecting from the pictures.Aside from the assemble 'pins' the other thing we miss is that our previous foldable hammocks came with a small pillow. It's not a big deal as you can just use a towel but worth mentioning.All-in-all this hammock is an incredible value. It's lightweight and easy to transport. Assembly isn't too bad once you get the hang of the pins. And it's as comfortable as you would expect from this style of self-contained collapsible hammock.
