I purchased a pickle ball paddle at the suggestion of a pickle ball aficionado! She said these were the best around. The first time I used the paddle, there was black residue left on my hand. Granted it was a hot day, but after spending a lot of money on this paddle, I felt it should not have happened. I was a bit annoyed thinking I had to take it to our nearby tennis shop to regrip the handle. However, after the second and third time playing the reside went away. The grip is fine and I now give it a 5-star review, because it has help up beautifully after about 20 games later. Highly recommend this paddle.
