Bought these as compression leggings for a very long flight. They were so comfortable! Medical grade compression. Very flattering fit. Love these for working out also. I would buy them again! These are the only leggings I work out in. For the gym, for a run, or to play tennis, anything I do with mild to high impact on my legs and knees, I am wearing these. Gives me much needed knee support, shock absorption and stability while active. Very nice tight compression throughout the leg, supporting my joints. High waisted giving good core support. Little mesh pocket at the waist for my chapstick. Strong material smooths out hips and most of the lumps and bumps for a smooth, curvy silhouette. Theyre costly but a worthy investment to protect from the wear and tear of vigorous activity. I have several because I work out often and work up a sweat but cant do laundry everday so its good to have several to keep in rotation while the sweaty ones are waiting to be washed. They can get expensive but often the prices fluctuate on amazon so you can get good deals. Important to pay attention to the laundering tag. DO NOT use fabric softner on these and do not put them in the dryer. My first couple pair were getting little wholes in them that would eventually grow and turn into big rips. I was getting so upset that something so expensive was deteriorating so quickly, then I realized my laundry lady was washing them with fabric softners and machine drying them. Now I run them through the washer myself with lots of soap on either cold or warm water cycles and then just hang to let them air dry, and these last much longer. No wholes, fabric stays strong and in tact. Some of the tights that I have worn for years start to wear out in the inner thigh area close to the groin because of my shape and also when im stretching that area takes the most strain, but I just get them patched back up with additional black lycra fabric and theyre good as new. Many people complain about the sizing but these are compression leggings so they are strong and tight the way they are supposed to be, to hold everything up and together. If you are looking for something loose or super stretchy like yoga pants, these are not for you. These are for strong and serious support, for long term impact and protection, like for people running miles, etc. At first they were hard to put on but after a few washes and wear they get a bit more stretchy and I am so used to putting these on everyday I dont notice the resistance anymore and they feel so great once theyre on. I love how they make me look smaller and smooth out the curves and feel so well supported. The cw-x "stabilyx" are a very worthy investment for anyone truly needing good support in their activewear. These are only bested by their cw-x "endurance generator" tights which are the highest level of supportive tights this brand offers (and my favorite of the 2)The first pair I ordered were large, because I have long legs and medium tights are usually too short and slide down and inhibit movement. I liked them at first, but felt that I was not getting the support I paid for. I had worn them, so I didn't think I could return them. I ordered another pair on sale in medium and they fit much better. I feel the support. It is difficult to know about sizing. Given the cost of these, they should give you more guidance about sizing for long legs. Make some especially for long legs. Both pairs do slide down and need to be pulled up, but so far, it has not been terrible. I really appreciate the knee support. The first pair of CW-X compression pants I bought were a different model and they were BadAss five stars and sold me completely on the idea of compression pants. I bought this pair with some amazon points so I did not pay full price. For the discounted price I paid they are ok. I won't be returning them or anything . . . but. well, considering the higher price they are a little disappointing. For one, I thought there would be a zippered back pocket like the first style I bought but nope, not on this pair. I can put a set of keys in the small hidden pocket in the front - but I have never found that to be as comfortable as having a back pocket for keys.Second, as several other reviewers have noted, the fabric is disappointingly fragile for sports gear. I mean for $108 I was expecting something more hefty. These tights are comfortable in warm and mild weather. They are kind of thin for cold weather. I love the high waist and the true compression as defined by the seams. These pants are tight by design but I believe they are sized correctly. I buy my normal size, i.e. a medium when I weigh 140-150 pounds and a large when I am heavier than that. I am 5' 4"love these, pricy but absolutely worth itgreat2nd pair of Stabilyx tights. Really supportive and comfy. Wash well. Shame they’re so expensive, but better than other similarly priced brandsGreat product, feel supported and comfortable when doing exercise. Delivery was delayed as item went astray however, they kindly reimbursed the delivery cost for waiting longer than I should have.Nice tights, not sure about the joint support cuz I got a nice pair of jogging shoes as well, but it does help to reduce the muscle soreness.
