I had to buy these to wear during pregnancy because my legs swelled up the size of hippo legs. They definitely helped with the swelling and pain. I had to get them on before I got out of bed for them to be the most effective. They are very tight like they are supposed to be, and that makes them pretty hard to get on, especially with a huge pregnant belly. My sister didn't use these and has a lot of varicose veins from pregnancy. I luckily didn't get any! I was really diligent in wearing them every day. It sucks to have to wear them, but they get the job done, so 5 stars.
