Make sure your bike seat tube is compatible for this droprrer seat post.The SD-440 dropper seat post comes with 27.2mm or 31.6mm diameters. 2. Make sure your bike seat tube has no sand,dirt,metal shavings or any objects inside that may scratch the seat post. 3. Install the seat post properly with the cable port facing rear. 4. Install the remote control onto the handlebar. 5. Install and fasten cable with zipties onto bike frame. 6. Turn the handlebar fully left and right to make sure the cable routing not interfere your steering control. Operation: There are three different height levels for adjustment. 1 To move the saddle lower: - Raise your hips slightly without leaving the saddle completely. - Press and hold slightly without leaving the saddle completely. - Use your body weight to push down the saddle - Release the remote lever once the saddle start to move down. - The saddle goes into the notch of the next level automatically with a "Click" sound. 2 To move the saddle higher: - Raise your hips slightly without leaving the saddle completely. - Press and hold the remote lever allowing the saddle to move up. - Keep raising your hipas until the saddle goes into the notch of the next level automatically with a "Click" sound. 3 If the positioning system of the dropper seat post does not lck or unlck properly.
