Since we are frequent movers having double walled boxes are must.We used these for our canned pantry goods as well as our gym weights (a couple extra strips of tape!). They easily held up to the task. Not only were they the perfect size, because the dimensions make it difficult to over load the weight (our avg. for them was 50-105 lbs.), but they withstood being the base layer in our moving truck with ease.No dents, crumpling, or warping. Considering that we moved from a humid climate to a sticky AF climate. That’s saying a lot. Our suspicions is: even if they got a bit banged up they wouldn’t lose much support integrity.We’ve unpacked them and these champion boxes will be ready for our next move, and the next, and probably the one after that.They are so sturdy and held well enough that it will be difficult to differentiate the ones we used from the couple we didn’t. If they make four moves, which seems likely, they will be appx. $1 a box a move. That’s about a 1/3 of what we would spend over time for the same cubic feet of boxes at the truck rental place.As a side note- the outside dimensions are just a smidge, 1/8 inch or so, wider than the inside of our 18” wire bakers shelves. So- they sit flush with the outside of the wire lip rather than sitting down inside it.
