i like no recharge batteries. one touch control is momentary on or hold and release . double squeeze buttons strobes once on. NO LOW setting do not need it. will wash red dot out minimally still able to see 3moa dot on low power setting sig romeo 1 pro. i live in middle of no where pitch black 2am can not see street or hand in front of face.i shine down dark road no lights anywhere and this rivals a hunting spot light but in a seemingly a light cylinder/ laser/ torch focused but fully aware of all things illuminated . able to observe 2000ft down road clearly BUT i am able to see further clearly if any reflective material in line of sight. not too powerful for indoors beam is soo tight it resembles just a appropriate white dot circle on wall. if any spill or flood is in effect it seems to appear 500 lumen at your feet able to clearly proceed walking short and far like really far double what i expected. no shadow in center light beam like focusable lights. visible image seems to adjust in /out near far . qd mount is intuitive able to rapidly use sprung tension to slip light on off with peeling motion and put on pistol /rifle slips on rail sideways no need to slide front to rear. rocks on and lock qd too easy. no wasted light spill, new tech have to see in person you will find you will agree with my pleasant findings. i will get more of this light for my collection before price goes way up and value is realized these are astonishing.This is an excellent choice IMHO. It fits the same as any other Olight Valkyrie or BALDR Pro so I cannot agree with the previous review. Olight is my go-to option on most portable lighting solutions due to technology (includes magnetic charging, light/laser combos and LEP tech), fit, finish and overall price. I have these lights installed on my Glocks, Sigs, Zev's, Staccatos, CZ's, Canik, Ruger 5/7 etc. The only knock is that it isn't rechargeable; which also means no remote switch for long-gun applications that I have become accustomed to. This is why I rate it 4 vs overall 5. The throw is remarkable. Probably more than most will need but it does remind me of a light saber. It might not be the best choice if you are looking for a light that has wide-angle flood properties but the throw cannot be beat on a pistol, AR-pistol/PCC or shotgun light...unless you buy the Odin Turbo LEP for your long-gun which has a throw of more than 1000 meters..I have the Valkyrie and Valkyrie Pro also. I like the clean white line of the Valkyrie over the Valkyrie pro. The LEP takes that clean white light and extends the range substantially was looking at purchasing the Odin for a different system may just use the turbo on that system as it is more versatileGood gun light for shooting targets at 50 yards or more….very satisfied.I have other brands including Olight on my pistols, the one thing I do like is less spill in close quarters and it is bright in long distance. It is longer than Olight PL-Pro Valkyrie (about 1/2”) and very slightly longer than TLR-1 Streamlight. On a full size pistol it does stick out a little, but it still looks good.The only reason for 4 stars is because I haven’t had it long enough to see how it performs, if it’s anything like my other Olights, it’ll be a 5 star soon.LEP - AWESOME LIGHTKeep in mind this is for full size guns. I have it mounted on my G 19 and it fits perfect. The throw is amazing. I turned it on one side of a dark field and i could see all the way down with no light scatter. It's worth the money. However I really wish i could use this on my Sig p320x Compact. It's too long and it doesn't clip on the way on the rails. Overall im very happy with my purchase and i just purchased a few more olight goodies. Hopefully Olight will send me some extra CR123's *hint hint*Extremely happy with the light will be purchasing more
