I've got several lights that I use for work. I've been using an Olight M3XS-UT for a couple years & it has worked flawlessly; so my expectations are pretty high. I was looking to replace it due to the fact it's a little long to carry all the time & the more neutral tint can leave some long range objects looking under whelming.I've had the T27 ~1 week and all the machining is as good or better than on my other lights (Surefire, Olight, Nitecore, Streamlight).Charged the battery fully and than ran a function check... everything worked at it should. The side switch is very nice. On some other lights the side switch can be hard to find in the dark and not very tactile. This switch has been easy to pick-up in the dark and manipulate.One of the best features is the User Interface (UI). Often, I need only provide enough light to guide people through a dark area with many obstacles… too bright or having to cycle through a variety of modes can be problematic. I now tend to set the light on low & use the side switch to turn it on for those situations.. when more light is needed, just hitting the tail switch gives me instant Turbo mode.I chose the 6k tint, and must say the light output from a light with this form factor is unparalleled. In many circumstances it would be overwhelming in high or Turbo mode.So far my only complaint is with the protected 21700 cell. Due to its length, it will not fit in MOST chargers available at this writing (cell is 75mm long). My XTAR VC4 will NOT fit it either. Although I can charge it in the light. I like having a spare cell ready to use. The variety of available protected 21700 cells is pretty limited as well. Although the Acebeam cell seems good ($20-$25 per cell vs $12-$14 for a quality 18650) it's pricey enough I'm likely to limit the number of lights I use with it.Overall, I'm happy with this purchase & would recommend it to anyone that needs a really long throw light.
