I'm giving this 5 stars even though it sadly does not work for our table. We have a big old table with a heavy duty apron all around the outside that falls at just the wrong place so that we can't attach the Perch either in front of or behind it. Sooo it won't work for all tables.HOWEVER, my kid LOVES this thing. We attach it to the counter at home so he can watch us cook from a safe distance and we can hand him little scraps to eat. He can also sit in it and play with toys while being contained when I have to do a little bit of work on my laptop at home. We recently took it on a family trip and attached it to Grandma's table for breakfasts with the family, which was awesome. He really liked being at the table with his cousins and being part of the family. For camping, it was great to quickly put him at the picnic table in his Perch and let his cousins safely entertain him while we set up the tent, porta-crib, etc.I actually wish we'd gotten a Perch before he was even eating solids because half the time we're just using it to contain him somewhere that he can see what's going on and be part of the family (even when we're not eating). With the 5-point harness you could totally put any baby who's comfortable sitting up in it and feel that they're secure.We love that it is lightweight, but very sturdy, comfy for our baby, and very portable. We do use it with the silicone tray from the same brand, which came in especially handy for camping. The tray slides right into the carrying case with the chair, so very convenient.
