It only uses one "C" cell which is fine for general purposes, but battery life is shorter with only one "C" cell.it was ok, thought it would be brighterThis was just ok. To be honest, I had purchased it as a Christmas gift and it left a lot to be desired. It didn't ship well in packaging and the tags were all off, so I had to place them back on as best as I could. I fear the flashlight itself looked used. I was embarrassed to give it. It's just a cheap flashlight, won't help in the woods or anything, just if you dropped your earring in your bedroom or something. Decent pricing for what you get, though.I bought two of these and I'm very happy with them.They're just as good as the more expensive brands.One of them I've had for about two years and have only replaced the battery once after the one which came with it died.They sent me the wrong color but other than that, it works great!Smaller than expected but good purchase, can't complain!! Bought 4 , went camping and it worked well, it even came with the battery which made it even more worth it...Very light for a D cell flashlight because only one battery is needed. Long battery life because the LED light output is not too bright, but ok for most purposes. They're so cheap you might as well buy several. Keep them handy in case the power goes out. For only $3, that includes a battery, losing or breaking them shouldn't be an issue, when compared to expensive flashlights. Just buy more. Five stars for the price, and they work. Light weight, easy to use.I’ve just ordered 2 more.On and off button stopped working after a couple of weeks, very disappointing.Worked when I first received it, but stopped after the second time. Opened it up and this small little coil fell out. All I ever did was take it in and out of my drawer and if that was enough for that little thing to come apart, then it is poorly constructed.
