I bought these to use with roses because of their height. I've had them for a couple of months now. I have not used the extra materials like the wire to secure the bottom, or the zip ties. We'll see what happens over the winter. But for now, all of the plants that I've placed in them are doing really well. It's getting cooler now, so it won't be until next year before I see how they handle the changing temperatures, but so far they're doing really well structurally. I've even moved them around a few times and they have been pretty sturdy. I've since placed them on rolling caddies so they're easier to move around. More time is needed to judge accurately, but based on my experience so far, I'd say these are a win and I would recommend.Pro tip: Use a ratchet socket to install the fasteners. It's MUCH easier and faster to install and isn't brutal on your fingers.
