I hesitated to purchase because of the price. Mainly, due to the fact that many items advertised as “ 100% silk “ are not 100% silk.I took a risk after researching this blanket and I am thankful I finally purchased it.I tend to dislike big bulky comforters or blankets and usually go to a thin cotton weave blanket topped with one or two other lightweight blankets.Surprisingly, I needed nothing other than my silk blanket once I put it on my bed. Again, I was apprehensive; even once I opened the carrying case and pulled out the blanket.I felt the silk and the quality of the blanket and immediately knew it was authentic silk as described. However, it wasso lightweight [ as described ] and once I felt it , I thought, “ There is no way this can be warm”( I live in FL and have AC set low 70 every night and still sleep with a fan blowing right onto me each night which tends to get cool.My new favorite blanket kept me warm and I never felt cold or overheated.My only complaint is that the carrying bag [ although it is an asset to the blanket and provides safe keeping amd easy traveling ]Is in no way created to match the elegance of the blanket.It is like putting 100 % silk in a canvas bag. Had The carrying bag been more elegant this would have been perfect!!!!I realize it is what is in the bag that counts but I am also a firm believer in presentation.And, for a beautiful blanket such as this; the carrying bag does an injustice to the elegance of the product.Hope the company will design a beautiful bag to match the quality and Astheic character of what is inside of it.Worth investing in!Self care!Small luxuries mean more than you think!!!???
