I recently purchased this dopp bag/travel kit for my husband. He adores the Floto briefcase I bought him last year and the duffel. From the beefy quality of the zipper to the ergonomic and graceful pull - both are engineered to last with top-notch fitting and finish. My husband is a notorious nit-picker about detail (and frankly I am an even bigger one...) He is a master cabinet maker, so all the details <> matter to him.In the past, he has bought a few mid-price range ($30-40-50) kits over the last 15 years and of course, over time, they fall apart. After making a big impression with the first Floto purchase of a briefcase, I now buy this brand of leather goods without any hesitation. This particular bag is absolutely and totally worth it - it will be the last dopp I ever need to buy him.Even though I was late with this St. Valentine's gift, he was really surprised and delighted. Typically, he is certainly a thankful person, but he remarked at least 7 times in less than a half hour how pleased he was with the newest Floto (now christened little Floto!) He walked into the master bedroom to tuck it away till he needs it and emerged saying "When you buy me exceptional things like that - I feel like I want to take really good care of it and have it last forever." Mission accomplished.A note on coloration - Sometimes the Floto Parma line looks a little mustard-y to my eye on some websites. The color is self is more a caramel color; similar to the inside of a Rolo chocolate or fresh saddle leather. The leather always patinas down to an even more gorgeous color; the lining (the classic Floto stripe) is complementary and masculine regardless of the tone or color of leather you choose.This bag has an inside pocket with low-profile zipper that is not like the outer zipper; so it does not take up a bunch of space unnecessarily.. The leather embossed interior Floto tag is prominently displayed and will help accomplish two things; enhance the structure of the bag -- already a very heavy-duty yet well flexing cattle hide -- as well as help my hub remember what 'line' we have been investing in. It's a great bag - all Flotos that are LEGIT - are! You will look like a very thoughtful mate indeed. I even told my husband I hoped he outlived the first Floto - which of course, would be impossible. Even if you cannot get someone else to buy this for you - buy one for yourself! You WILL thank me!Next on my list? A red Floto doctor's bag and backpack for me! (Hint, hint hon!)
